Dessert was the creamy goat’s milk cheesecake was paired with a tart cherry and black pepper sorbet, which had bright aftertaste and a bit of a bite from kicky black pepper. A balsamic reduction rounded out the sweet and savory dessert. It managed to be sweet without being overly cloying, and creamy without being too heavy. This dessert was the perfect capstone to our meal.
